The agreement between ClockLap and organisations that use it.
Last updated October 18, 2026
These terms are between ClockLap and the organisation that creates a workspace (“you”). The person who signs up confirms that they can accept them for that organisation. Your staff use ClockLap under your account and your workplace policies.
Everything you and your staff put into ClockLap is yours. We use it only to provide and support the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can export it at any time, including after you cancel, for 30 days.
We aim to keep ClockLap running all the time and post incidents on the status page. During early access we don't promise a specific uptime. The app keeps punches on the phone when it's offline and sends them when it reconnects.
ClockLap helps calculate hours and overtime, but you remain responsible for paying your staff correctly and meeting employment law. Check timesheets before you run payroll. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Neither side is liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
You can close your workspace from Settings. We may suspend a workspace for unpaid bills after notice, or straight away for serious misuse. After closing, you have 30 days to export your data before we delete it.
We'll email workspace owners at least 30 days before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
