ClockLap + Jobber: every job ready to clock into

Jobs you schedule in Jobber show up in the ClockLap app as projects, with their clients. Crews clock in by arriving; the day’s hours go back to Jobber as a note on the job.

ClockLap reads jobs through Jobber’s GraphQL API (cursor pages, with its query-cost limits respected) and sends a versioned X-JOBBER-GRAPHQL-VERSION header.

How it works

  1. Sign in with JobberApprove ClockLap for your Jobber account.
  2. Choose which jobsOpen jobs (default) or every job; add their clients; optionally a site with a geofence at each address.
  3. Send hours backOff, or a note on each job once a day, for approved hours or every finished shift.
  4. Choose how oftenHourly, daily (default) or only when you press Import jobs.
  5. ReviewSee which projects would be added, updated or archived before anything changes.

Jobs and clients

Jobs become projects; their clients become (or are matched to) ClockLap clients, so hours, reports and invoices group by client.

What you need

  • A Jobber account with permission to connect apps

Every run keeps a history: who and what was sent, per-line results, plain-language errors with a fix, and a redacted request log for admins. Webhooks fire on field_service.jobs_imported, field_service.hours_sent.

Questions

Do my crews need Jobber logins?

No. People clock time in ClockLap; Jobber only receives the hours as notes.

What happens to finished jobs?

Their projects are archived in ClockLap, so the phone only offers open work.

Is the Jobber connection included in the price?

Yes. Every connection is part of every ClockLap plan: $1 per staff member and $2 per manager or admin a month, with no add-ons.

Is ClockLap affiliated with Jobber?

No. ClockLap connects to Jobber using its published API; it isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Jobber. The connection is in beta while we verify it with live accounts.
